We have already had a few snowflakes falling---but thank goodness it was just some spitting and maybe a a bit of snow that stuck for about ten minutes max on a recent day----since we have had some frosts and freezes along with the snow---we are now having "Indian Summer" with temps into the mid-70s. Around Cincinnati along the Ohio River--you would have almost thought it was a summer's day with the number of boats out running the river----and everyone riding their Harley's, Goldwings and crotch rockets, also people with the top down on their "drop top" cars.

It was a great day to get out and ride around the hills and hollers of southern Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky----there is still some nice color in many trees--but many trees have dropped their leaves already and soon---any warm days will just be a memory till we get those teaser days of defrosting in February, then maybe some in March and April too--when it finally does warm back up.

Hope ya like these photos---

This is an interesting little tidbit--that place I took most of the photos---Rabbit Hash, Kentucky---was featured on one of those humorous Bill Geist pieces they run on CBS News' Sunday Morning program.

Rabbit Hash has sort of a gimmick they have been doing for about a decade now----the "town of Rabbit Hash"---has as had as its mayor--a few dogs.

The most recent "mayor" died not long ago--so they are "holding an election"--one that you can buy---for a buck--you can vote as many times as you wish for any of the current list of "candidates"--mostly dogs--but I think they might have a cat or two in the running--and now---a miniture donkey too.

So far--the video of the segment has not shown up on the Sunday Morning website---but when it does---I will post up a link to the video----it is funny and cute--and a nice diversion from the "real election" stuff.

Fantastic as usual Volty!!! I love the pics of the Rabbit Hash, especially the one with the bikes. Think Tex should get some purdy boots to wear for his birthday??? :tong: They could do some men's boots with less flowers for him. Wonder what the boys at work would say if he came trottin' in with a pair of those on.

Very nice photos... I love this time of year, watching as the leaves change colors and feeling the briskness in the air. It makes you want to be outside enjoying every last minute of it. :bipride:

We, just had the first snowfall of the year.
White stuff that did not go away until noon the next day.
But, I was again warmed in my soul by your photos of a "late fall, Indian Summer Day!!!"
Viewing them will help me through winter and spring is again here.
