Have any of you seen the show? I got an episode teaser tonight and it was clearly showing the tension in a threesome. Kinda surpising from Fox but we can hope it heralds more accuracy about LGBT.

And umm take no notice of the fact that the threesome are actually killers, it is a drama about a serial killer and his internet followers after all :)

Kevin Bacon must be hard up for money. this is a show about a cult and its demented leader and glorifying killing. What a loser of a show.

This sounds like a rehash of the forbidden love (http://tinyurl.com/chuan38) plot. Many of these plots seem to evoke mainstream consciousness, they are often skewed to portray the love negatively. If done without injection of author opinion they may perhaps not create such portrayals.

To inject author opinion beyond the author's narrative voice is deemed propaganda. I am treading on quite thin ice here in avoiding injecting an opinion, one which elicits propaganda as negative. Using propaganda may often appear negative. It does though have positive uses.

When an author injects experience to meter an opinion, you find parables, or story based lessons and instruction. Aesop's fables serve as a valid example of such writing. The written teachings of many great spiritual leaders see parables used. Please understand, television programming uses written story material and that's why I'm addressing it as such.

In disclosure, not seen the show except in passing 'previews' of it on television. Not sure it would be something I would choose to watch. M*A*S*H, Andy Griffith, I Love Lucy, NCIS, Mike Holmes(et al) are more in line with my watching habits, even then at times rather not bother. Television is likened to background noise.

I haven't been following "The Following", pardon the pun, but the clip I saw did make me want to see it. Apparently there were two guys living as gay couple next to his only living victim and they kidnapped her. The woman was his son's nanny. Now there is a threesome. Not sure if it's really bisexuality or just free love cult keeping them happy.
