I have tried sounding with things like pens and screwdrivers (long ones). You should have the cleanest things so you don't get a UTI. The hardest part about larger things was the tip as it has a restriction. A meatonomy (spelling wrong I am sure) which is basically a a small subincision helps so you can put larger things there. I started out slow and easy and experimented with different sizes to find out what worked and what didn't.....Make sure what ever you use is smooth and very clean, last thing you want to do is cut yourself on the inside of your cock or give yourself an infection.
