My Shiny Man,

Thought I would recall what today is about. It is a day we celebrate love.
And even if I'm not there with you in a body, at least the spirit visits.

I remember our talks and walks here on the site. We both took some time before realizing love. Now, it has been four to five years and I still love you.

Love for you grows daily with frustration over life's imperfections. I choose to let love win. You've shown me how.

I miss you in these arms that manhandle another form of wood every day. You bring me joy in just existing. You remind me to breathe when it's safe to breathe.

You are the man I call husband. The rest of the world can go figure it out for themselves. They have one another.

Thank you for your kind words. Actually offer an apology. Normally I don't open up as such in public. Looked around the Internet for a suitable electronic greeting in the spirit. Could not find anything which really seemed right. So, hopefully he can see these bits from the heart on here.

Between he and the wife, I've learned more of love than ever before. It was weapon and shield, strength and weakness. Now, it is so much beyond that. Am very grateful to them both equally and in their respective fashions. Love both for who they are, desire to not change anything. Will love them beyond eternity and a day. :) :grouphug:
